Son and Wife's First Concert
The entire experience was excellent overall. Spectrum Center Security and Staff were professional and efficient; the lines moved quickly and we were inside in 10 minutes. The place was near full with Gorillaz and Cindy Lauper show. The middle-priced ticket seats we had were excellent, close enough to see the performances clearly and really enjoy the experience. Cindy Lauper was very good but a little politically preachy at the end of her part of the show. Gorillaz was outstanding, my 14 year old son has heard their music since he was a wee one and was actually singing along with some of the songs. Overall, good. My wife was rocking and the whole crowd was on their feet 75% of the time. Gorillaz performed 2 hours, Cindy 1. Never having been to this venue, we were unsure of just how good it would be. A great time, real value. I will definitely consider going to another concert in this venue.
